Mobile application for GPS and photo tracking

The solution is based on connection of mobile phone, GPS technology and web. A mobile phone with GPS module and connection to the internet (G3, EDGE, GPRS) sends in regular intervals photos on the server. Server maintains photographs and puts them into Google maps. Mobile application runs in the background and no specialized settings is required. The time from photo taking to dispaly on map is usually about 20 seconds.

Technical solution brings mobile application (programmed in Python), server application and administration. Managers can further work with data - confirm, delete or edit received photos, insert additional information or comments etc. Application has wide spectrum of usage - various real-time report from outdoor ad campaings, monitoring of workers position, monitoring of objects etc. Whole system is very flexible and it is possible to build another applications, specialized modules and connect it to various platform. In current version the application is supported on mobile phones Nokia with operating system Symbian.
