Otakars

The graphics of the web is based on Jan Písařík's illustrations and we also provided a simple pubblication system for the work of this torn poet and events.

Ota Kars is a wild creation of the tragic fate of the painter Jiří Kars -- who managed to flee Shoah but comitted suicide in the end because he could'nt flee its consequences for his close ones and couldn't flee himself -- and the delirious, riveting alcoholic Otto Katz who considered priesthood a kind of a business contract between himself and the Lord.
